Suitable for the crowd:
For commonly used electronic sphygmomanometers (including commonly used medical mercury sphygmomanometers), the blood pressure is measured by the indirect method, and there are certain errors relative to the direct measurement method. The error is usually between 5% and 20%.
The indirect measurement method is not suitable for people with low or high blood pressure, especially for patients with heavy bleeding, whose blood pressure is severely low. Indirect measurement may cause more than 40% error and cause doctors to make wrong judgments.
