WEG Open Drip Proof motors are designed to meet
demanding applications in environments where dirt and
humidity are minimal. These motors are specifically designed
to provide maximum ventilation and heat dissipation.
Features that make a difference:
- 50/60 Hz rated (380V on Nameplate - 400/415 Available - Same Horse Power at 50 Hz with a 1.0 service factor)
- Class F insulation (Impregnation Resin and Magnet wire are class H)
- F1 Mounted (Cast Iron Frame motors are F2 convertible)
- Stainless Steel Nameplate - Laser etched with high contrast background (Cast Iron Frame only)
- Regreasable ball bearings (Frames 254JM/JP and up)
- Aegis Ring™ inside. See page 229
TEFC - Three Phase
High performance with maximum energy efficiency, this is the
meaning of the new WEG electric motor. High efficiency and
Low cost of Ownership throughout the entire motor lifetime
have been the basis for the W22 development. A design
created to anticipate concepts on performance and energy
savings.
WEG’s W22 cast iron platform has an improved cooling
system and solid feet for cooler operation and reduced
vibration and noise extending the life of the motor.
